Prescriptions

In Bellaghy Pharmacy, our staff aim to provide you with a very comprehensive dispensing service for NHS and private prescriptions. Our computer system automatically records all medications we dispense in our pharmacy. By always using our pharmacy for your prescriptions, it means we can have a complete medication record to provide you with information on medications to avoid problems.

We collect prescriptions from the following health centres as indicated in the table below.

When ordering your prescription, please advise the reception staff you wish Bellaghy pharmacy to collect on your behalf.

Additionally, if you would like to click here and list the medication you have ordered along with the other information listed, we can ask for the prescription on your behalf. As lines are always busy, please allow sufficient time from ordering your prescription before calling to collect it, to ensure that we have received it.

Private prescriptions –

Some specialist medications can only be obtained on a private prescription from your doctor or a vet for your pet.  We aim  to compete with any online prices you may receive, with the guarantee that any medications we provide are genuine from an approved supplier. Contact us by telephone, email or in person to obtain more information.

GP Practice Collection

To register for our collection service:

1. Order your medication from the surgery and advise the staff Bellaghy Pharmacy will collect on your behalf.
2. Contact our pharmacy and let us know when your prescription will be ready for collection.

If you require a repeat prescription please submit the details using our online form.

We will collect the prescription and have it ready for you to collect at your convenience.
